What is desi?
Desi is the shipping industry's measure of the volume a package occupies. Because the cost of a light but bulky package depends more on its volume than its weight, the price is based on the larger of desi and actual weight.
Formula
Desi = width (cm) × length (cm) × height (cm) ÷ 3000
The result is rounded up to two decimals. The chargeable weight is the larger of desi and kilograms, rounded up to a whole number; the minimum is 1.
